They don't need to be humble. This was the best poke I've ever had. Fresh, full of flavor, diverse textures and beautiful presentation. I got the classic poke but then swapped out the tuna for salmon and my tastebuds died and went to heaven! And both of my co-workers felt the same way. We said several times later in the meeting ... "Man, that was some good poke." That's all I got. Get the classic poke here. Your mouth will thank you then smile. At Humblefish the food is their humblebrag.

Don't mind these mainland poke joints going their own direction on poke, especially when Humble Fish offers one selection that maintains a local Hawaiian flavor. The Classic (tuna, sesame oil, green and white onion, seaweed) replicates the kind of poke you will find in Hawaii. It's like being home again. Another solid option is the Sincerely, Salmon. Vinegary, and sweet with a dollop of ikura and cubes of salmon poke. The only improvement I'd suggest is getting ogo limu from Hawaii instead of substituting for a lesser sea kelp. At $1/lb I'm sure it could be shipped over to give the poke bowls that authentic, crunchy seaweed texture.

Check in on yelp for a free tea! First off the interior is SO cute! Very aesthetic. would love my own place to be decorated similarly. I tried the yuzu salmon bowl and everyone else tried the spicy tuna bowl. I think i liked my Yuzu salmon bowl the best. While it was $2.00 for avocado it was definitely worth it as they put an ENTIRE avocado in my bowl :) made me smile LOL loved that they make their bowl super aesthetic and pretty and dressed with interesting edible ingredients like kelp and wavy crisps and bright yellow tobiko. Next time i'll try the other salmon bowls. The spicy tuna bowl wasn't too spicy and the flavor profile wasn't quite to my liking, but i think my friends also felt the same way. Would def come back for poke here; felt very clean and fresh!

Very nice presentation. I met a good friend here for lunch..it was my first ever visit. I like the wooden lunch table seats and the friendly staff There is a lovely large plant in the middle of the restaurant that includes seating around it. I needed a touch more salmon but I love the presentation. The food was not only freshly made but tasty as well. I may be back

I got the Humble Fish n Chip and the fish was really nice and fresh! However, the portion was quite small and I was still hungry after. They also put a little too much dressing but it wasn't too bad. Next time I'll get it with rice or something. Service here was really nice and sweet.

I pass by this place almost daily and first of all, the staff is great! In the summer (yes, I'm dreaming of warmer days ahead!) I workout in a nearby park and they happily let me refill my water bottle regularly. They offer water for pets too btw The other day I went to pick up tacos with a friend and the place was busy and only gave us half of the order. Resolution? My friend took the tacos and I went to Humble Fish! I had the Surf's up Salmon (still dreaming of warmer weather ahead) and it was delish. Just the right amount of spiciness and pickles, yum!

I had a pleasant dinner here last night with a friend. Brand new poké place in Tribeca that just opened this past weekend! If you walked by this place, you would never know that it's a poké restaurant - this isn't your typical grab and go place. It's bright, modern, and slightly fancy feeling - perfect for grabbing wine and beer with your poké. Also, $7 wines that actually taste decent?! Yes please. Both the rosé and white wines were amazing. I had the Surf's Up Salmon and my friend had the yuzu bowl. Both were pretty good (and spicy!) The yuzu one was a bit too salty/spicy for me, but my salmon bowl was really good. One thing though - I wish the bowls had more veggies. We also tried the kelp noodles which were surprisingly really tasty. The pesto macadamia sauce was spot on. And the humble pie was super yummy. Don't leave without trying this. Overall, a great spot for lunch or happy hour. Can't wait to be back!
